Escuela Bilingüe Internacional (EBI) is a PK to grade 8 independent school with two campuses in the San Francisco Bay Area: one in Oakland and one in Emeryville. EBI is the only Spanish-English bilingual, International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Northern California.
The community of EBI, including the faculty and staff, is a unique and valuable asset to the school. It is with this in mind that, in addition to specific responsibilities, it is essential that all EBI employees demonstrate the following:

Escuela Bilingüe Internacional was thrilled to welcome Zachary Rubin to the position in the summer of 2024.
Meet the new leader
With over a decade of experience in various academic environments, Zach has succeeded in roles ranging from Assistant Principal to Curriculum Coordinator. He has a strong background in the International Baccalaureate program, strategic planning, and professional development, supporting over 30 instructors and staff to provide the best education possible. His previous positions have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of school operations, curriculum development, and compliance with international education standards.
