Academic Technology Coordinator
Greens Farms Academy seeks an Academic Technology Coordinator to begin in the summer of 2019. The Coordinator will play several key roles in the community: working with faculty to integrate technology into their curricula; offering professional development to faculty and staff; responding to requests for technology support; collaborating with a seven-person technology team to manage hardware, software, infrastructure and systems; and collaborating with the academic technology team and the STEAM coordinators to design and implement vertically-aligned curriculum PreK-12. The role will likely focus on the Middle School (grades 5-8), but there is flexibility to work across divisions.
The Coordinator should be knowledgable about a range of classroom technologies, have experience working with secondary-school-aged children, have a deep familiarity with the Apple platform, and be fluent with the systems and infrastructure that power our campus. For all positions, we look for candidates who enjoy working with colleagues in a collaborative environment, who are flexible and creative, who will fully engage in the life of the school, and who are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable community.
This is an eleven-month position, reporting to the Director of Technology.
Greens Farms Academy is a PreK-12 co-educational day school of 715 students in the Greens Farms section of Westport, CT. Interested candidates should email a resume, a letter of interest, and a list of references (if available) addressed to Chris Kolovos, Associate Head of School, to technologyjobs@gfacademy.org.
