Job Description

Announcing an extraordinary opportunity to combine your existing skillset in non-profit data with an amazing organization within the Catholic Church. The Pontifical North American College is seeking an Advancement Data Specialist (ADS) to join our team. While the College itself is based in Rome just outside the Vatican City State, the Office of Institutional Advancement is located in Washington, DC near the Catholic University of America campus (Brookland stop on the Metro Red Line). The position reports directly to the Executive Director.

The ADS is the principal architect and supervisor of our hosted Raiser's Edge database and gift management process. Principal duties include: oversight of automated gift entry and acknowledgment across all giving platforms; production of donor/gift reports and queries; analysis of giving data; collaboration with the financial team in Rome; and management of database integrity and maintenance.

For consideration, a candidate must have no less than two years of full-time experience using Raiser's Edge*, preferably as a supervisor or higher. He/she must be highly proficient in general database concepts, query-writing and Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Preference will be given to persons of the Catholic Faith. A competitive salary and benefits package are available. Preferred start date is August 1, 2017 but flexible.
