Advancement Database Coordinator
This position reports to the Director of Advancement.As a member of the Advancement Department, and under the general supervision of the Director of Advancement, the incumbent is responsible for Raiser’s Edge; utilization and maintenance. The incumbent must exhibit great flexibility in order to perform widely varying tasks on a day-to-day basis. The incumbent must demonstrate maturity and professionalism.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain database to ensure database accuracy (data entry)
- Donation recording, receipting and thank-you issuance (from RE)
- Coordination with Business Office for reports, auditing and accuracy verification
- Provide financial and constituency queries and reports (from RE)
- Work with Advancement Associate(s) to execute targeted Annual Fund appeals and event invitations.
- Red & White Educational Foundation assistance
- Responsible for Alumni House guest bookings; coordination of Housekeeping
- Provide hands-on assistance during alumni events on campus/local: Golf Tournament, Homecoming, Graduation Dinner, Baccalaureate, Memories
The successful candidate should have:
- Degree or diploma in a related field and/or experience in a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Database experience an asset
- Strong English skills (French an asset)
- Familiarity with boarding schools an asset
