Assistant Director, Information Technology Services

Reporting to Steinhardt’s Chief Information Officer, the Assistant Director of Information Technology Services is responsible for overseeing the desktop support operations of Steinhardt Technology Services. At a high level, this individual will be tasked with managing, improving, and overseeing the operational workflow and processes of the IT Services team. Position will supervise 4 full-time technologists and several student workers in the planning, installation, and execution of information technology solutions across the School.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Technology or Management

Required Experience:
Min 5 yrs of experience in a customer facing technology field

Preferred Experience:
Experience at New York University or comparable higher education environment

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Display expertise in: customer service, staff development, organizational science, technology knowledge

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
PMP certification
