Assistant Director, Technology Services

Our highly specialized and deeply engaged advisers guide students in their intellectual explorations toward an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving.
Organize, administer, and support the school’s technology infrastructure, including desktops, endpoints, learning spaces, and servers. Administer and support applications and databases. Provide
tier 3 support for endpoints, servers, systems, and applications. Provide project leadership for new systems, processes, and applications. Develop and support maintenance and security strategy to
ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation and security of data; establish and implement backup, remote and cloud access procedures. Develop and provide technology training for staff and faculty. Research emerging
technologies and make recommendations. Partner with University departments and schools to develop and implement university-wide technologies. Develop and monitor department budget. Coordinate with
leadership on technology strategic plan.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
6 years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience supporting information technology, training, research, and client service in an academic environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Expertise in the following areas: Application development, networking, active directory, shibboleth, service desk management, videoconferencing, digital video and/or design, Document management imaging and storage, audio- visual systems design and integration.
