Undergraduate students choose to concentrate their studies in one of five schools with more than 539 course offerings and 36 academic programs. A faculty member's regular instructional schedule may include, as College needs dictate, day classes, evening classes and Saturday classes.

Tenure Track. The Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College of New Jersey invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Information Technology Management. The Anisfield School of Business desires excellent teachers who also have active research agendas consistent with maintaining AACSB accreditation standards. The teaching responsibilities are primarily in the undergraduate program and include teaching the Principles of Information Technology course required of all business majors as well as various core and elective information systems courses in the Information Technology Management program. The candidate may also teach graduate information systems courses in the MBA and MS Accounting programs and have opportunities to develop elective courses in high demand information systems areas. Teaching interest and experience in data analytics is preferable.

In addition to teaching 12 credit hours (3 four-credit courses per semester) of course work each semester, faculty members are expected to maintain academic qualifications consistent with AACSB standards for scholarship and intellectual contributions as well as fulfilling service obligations including college and school governance, academic advisement, professional development and other needed activities.

 

Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Information Technology Management, Information Systems or a closely related field and show evidence of a promising research agenda.  Preference may be given to candidates with a doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited institution. Candidates that are ABD with degree completion imminent will also be considered. Salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The screening will begin in Fall 2018 and will continue until the position is filled. The preferred starting date is September 2019.
