Chief Information Officer
The Chief Information Officer is a visionary leader responsible for all of Chaminade’s technology strategic planning and implementation, and oversees all matters related to academic and corporate technologies for the advancement of the school’s mission and objectives. The primary responsibilities fall into four categories.
· Provide leadership in the development of strategic plans identifying information technologies to support and promote the mission of the school, and advise the President and the rest of the administration in technology planning.
· Hire, supervise, develop, and lead all technology personnel, such as Network Managers, Director of Blended and Online Learning, Instructional Technology Specialists, and Technology Support Specialists.
· Establish and monitor all budgets and purchases related to technology.
· Investigate, integrate, maintain and safeguard all system resources in enterprise-wide operation and insure that new technological developments are incorporated in future school plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a combination of education and experience equivalent to the following:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, master’s degree preferred
· Prior experience managing technology in a school environment
