Chief Information Officer
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is accountable for directing the information and data integrity of the college and for all Information Technology functions of the college. This includes all data centers, technical services, production scheduling functions, help desks, communication networks (voice and data), computer program development, and computer systems operations. He or she is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all electronic records of the enterprise including medical records. The CIO is responsible for the purchasing of all information processing equipment and software. The CIO provides overall management and definition of all computer and communication activities within the college including responsibility for providing a leadership role in the data to day operations of the Information Technology functions as well as providing technical direction as the college grows both internally and externally. The CIO works collaboratively with the Chief Information Security Officer to ensure enterprise IT systems are fully up to date to minimize against security breaches and vulnerability issues. The CIO maintains close cooperation with all departments and provides advice and support for departmental level IT operations and services. Serves as principal IT advisor to the President.
