Communications Coordinator
Notre Dame Academy seeks a Communications Coordinator with a creative spirit and a passion for working in an environment that inspires young women to reach their greatest potential. The successful candidate plays a key role in successfully telling the NDA story to internal and external audiences through paid, earned and owned media - digital and print. The Communication Coordinator reports to the Director of Strategic Integration and Brand Experience and works with the Offices of Institutional Advancement and Admissions.
Responsibilities/Objectives:

Develop and manage web/social media policies, properties, and content

Take video and photographs at school events as needed

Manage photo and video archive
-
Track and measure the success of key communications
-
Assist with the production of marketing materials

Proofread, edit and fact-check key communications

Provide Administrative support as needed
Role:
-
Work with the Director of Strategic Integration and Brand Experience to ensure that all communications remain consistent and reflect brand standards

Support the Offices of Institutional Advancement, Admissions and others on an as needed basis to define brand graphic standards and to coordinate, develop, schedule or post communications.
Skills:

Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills

Excellent organization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to conceptualize, create and package digital content

Work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues and community members

Experience or willingness to train on content management tools
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in marketing and communications or related field; experience working in a school setting a plus

Demonstrated understanding of strategy, development, and implementation principles of marketing communications and some experience in tactics and execution.
