Computer Science Teacher

Saint Louis Priory School, a Benedictine, Catholic, and college preparatory school for boys grades 7 through 12, seeks a Computer Science teacher for the 2016-17 school year. The position will teach middle school computer science and assist in high school computer science program. Experience with word-processing, presentation, spreadsheet software and website development (HTML and CSS) is required. Experience with Scratch (or similar software) and Java is desired. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience developing STEM activities and professional programming experience. An advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Candidates must be flexible, committed to rigor in the classroom, and genuinely concerned about their students’ mastery of the material. A preference will be given to teachers willing to coach at the high school level.
