Computer Science Teacher - Upper School

Latin School of Chicago is seeking a upper school COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER who is passionate about education. The school is building a new computer science program, and currently involves teaching Computer Science Principles based off of the Code.org materials, as well as several more advanced classes.

This is a hybrid 12-month position with the summers dedicated to curriculum development. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience and knowledge of computer programming as well as the ability to work collaboratively. An advanced degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. We are looking for someone who cultivates an inclusive and supportive climate for all students, especially students from underrepresented backgrounds and who fosters appreciation for differences in our community.
