Fredericksburg High School is seeking an outstanding, dynamic, innovative, experienced high school Business/Technology teacher with a background in business/computers who wants to create an educational environment where all students can achieve at high levels of academic performance.
Fredericksburg High School is dedicated to educating and inspiring students to reach their highest potential and to prepare them to be successful in their future schooling as they prepare for careers in the 21st century global economy.
BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE
To instruct students in selected courses as well as possible UIL business/computer competitions.
Teachers must be fully certified or in an approved alternative program with a Texas Teaching Certificate or emphasis in the following areas:
any Secondary Business or office education certification, Secondary Industrial Arts or Technology Applications,
Technology Education, Computer Science, Trades and Industrial Education or Vocational Trades and Industry.
**Will consider permit in trade area**
Experience in technology and business courses preferred.
Teacher salary scale with stipend for UIL events.
FISD pays an average of $12,500 above state base.
FISD pays $225 a month towards aethna TRS Health Insurance.
You can earn up to 5 local and 5 state days.
