Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, computer information systems, management information systems, math, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Demonstrated ability to learn a variety of technical tools to achieve outcomes. One year of full-time experience working in data analysis or reporting. Proficient with relational databases and writing SQL queries. Demonstrated ability to document steps in a process and make technology recommendations to improve the process. Ability to develop training materials and deliver training presentations about systems and data. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. |

Desired Qualifications |
Knowledge of and experience with SQL and Visual Basic. Experience providing technology support to staff and faculty in a higher education environment. Familiarity with fundraising tools and concepts . Experience coordinating and auditing data for quality assurance in a fundraising organization preferred. One year experience using Banner preferred. Proficient with extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. |

Position Purpose |
Research, implement, manage, and support University Advancement systems through reporting, data audits, and process improvement projects. Develop and implement business intelligence initiatives supporting the strategic goals of the division. Create, maintain, and update complex reports, databases, dashboards, data analytics and other relevant technologies. Integrate business processes and data entry and maintenance in order to provide technical and reporting solutions. Represents division in shared data governance committees as it relates to Banner Document Management, Argos, distributed technology, and others as needed. This position oversees student worker(s) to assist with data integrity tasks. |
