Job Description:
Springmont School announces the position of Data Assistant to begin December 1, 2015. The Data Assistant is responsible for coordinating database activities to serve the needs of admission and development. Particular responsibilities include overseeing strategic plans for database utilization and optimization, providing donor and constituent research, and handling stewardship of the donor and enrollment data.
Responsibilities:
Provides prospect research services for the Advancement Department
Performs on-line and hard-copy research to evaluate giving potential and solicitation strategies
Analyzes and implements information systems
Inputs parent, student, faculty, staff organization records and data in Education Edge, Raiser’s Edge, and website portal databases
Updates and maintain existing records in above database
Maintains files and prepares reports including briefing documents for development staff, board committees and Head of School
Requirements:
• Has a bachelor's degree plus five years’ database experience
• Is fluent in latest technology pertinent to job duties and is knowledgeable of database systems, structure and best practices, particularly Blackbaud
• Is highly analytical and has an inherent attention to detail
• Has the ability to understand and meet reporting needs and to manipulate data
• Possesses general accounting and bookkeeping knowledge

Elementary Teacher
Springmont is specifically accepting applications for an Elementary Guide for the fall of 2016. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, an AMI Elementary teaching diploma, and experience teaching in a Montessori environment.
Springmont is located north of Atlanta on 6 wooded acres in Sandy Springs. We currently have over 260 students, ages 18 months to 14 years, enrolled in four Primary classes (including two All-Day classrooms), three Lower Elementary classes, two Upper Elementary classes and Middle School. New construction was completed in June 2008 and major exterior renovations were finished this past summer.
We are also proud of our 83-acre Landschool in the northwest Georgia mountains. Adjacent to the Chattahoochee National Forest, this facility is an excellent environment for Elementary and Middle School overnight trips and Faculty/Staff retreats.
