Austin Preparatory School, located in Reading, Massachusetts about 20 miles north of Boston, is seeking candidates for the position of Database Administrator beginning immediately.  Founded in 1961, Austin Prep is a Catholic independent co-ed school serving students in grades 6-12.  Austin Prep has a talented faculty of approximately 75 that administers a challenging curriculum that prepares students well for success in high school and college.  The Database Administrator will report to the Director of Technology.

Austin Prep recently launched a new Student Information System and seeks a Database Administrator to input, update and maintain the school's critical information.  The Database Administrator will be responsible to continually update all detail information in the system that will include academic, fundraising, event, facility resource and other data that will be accessible to and frequently used by faculty, staff, and administrators as well as by students and school families.  The successful candidate will be a well-organized operator that can securely and confidentially manage information under data input protocols.  Accuracy, resourcefulness and timeliness are key attributes of the successful Database Administrator. Also required is the ability to work and communicate with the faculty, staff and administrators who will both provide information and guidance on data to be input and rely on the integrity of that same data.
