Database Administrator and Assistant to the Dean of Enrollment Management

Summary:
Primarily responsible for operation and development of the admission software system which supports the admission process. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Dean of Enrollment Management.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Databases:
a. Manage and Develop Databases in conjunction with the Dean of Enrollment Management
b. Enrollment/Reenrollment
i. Manage and process the enrollment and reenrollment for the student body
c. Interest Management Database (IMM)
i. Update and maintain coach accounts
d. Event Management
i. Manage events database and correspondence
2. Administrative Support for the Dean of Enrollment Management
a. Schedule and coordinate appointments for the Dean of Enrollment Management
b. Manage Dean's travel schedule (domestic and international) & receptions
Desired Skills:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Strong organizational skills
3. Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Excel; extensive skills in Filemaker Pro or proficiency with other database systems
4. Ability to communicate well within a diverse academic community
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a five member support staff team
6. Professional manner consistent with the business of the admission office at a private independent school

Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, be flexible and able to multitask. Maintain a professional and confidential atmosphere within Dean’s office and with parents. Highly motivated, self-directed and achievement oriented.
