Database Manager
The Rumson Country Day School is seeking a Database manager to serve as the primary administrator of our Blackbaud Database. This role includes both management and user responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Management of all aspects of Blackbaud applications-Education Edge(Admission’s Office, Registrar’s Office, and Student Billing), FaWeb, Netcommunity, Netclassroom, and Raiser’s Edge.
Troubleshoot data-related problems and act as liaison with Blackbaud to correct problems encountered
Address/resolve user issues related to Raiser’s Edge, FaWeb, Education Edge, NetCommunity and NetClassroom
Provide support, training and or instructions to teachers and staff
Create customized queries and reports in Raiser’s Edge and Education Edge and produce output documentation
Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
Set up new academic year in Education Edge and FaWeb; manage constituency changes and other updates annually in Raiser’s Edge
Ongoing database verification and cleanup
Manage and monitor the integration between Raiser’s Edge and Education Edge
Serve as Upper and Lower School Registrar, managing class scheduling quarterly; coordinate report cards process from conception to publishing in partnership with Faculty members and Upper and Lower School Head
Manage summer forms and re-enrollment contracts process annually through netcommunity, partnering with parents, Admissions Office and Business Office.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a database manager
Expertise on Blackbaud applications including Education Edge, FaWeb, Netcommunity, Netclassroom and Raiser’s Edge
An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to work independently and on deadline
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
College degree, 4 years related experience and/or training equivalent.
