Convent & Stuart Hall is seeking excellent candidates for an instructor in design engineering and computer science for the 2018-19 school year, to begin late-Summer 2018. This is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Job Description and Qualifications
Convent & Stuart Hall is seeking excellent candidates for an inspirational instructor of design engineering, robotics and computer science for its middle and high school students. Candidates should be compelling educational practitioners in the interrelated areas of digital design, electronics, computer programming, CAD, 3-D design, VR/AR and related entrepreneurial curriculum. In addition to specific teaching assignments, the course instructor is a key supervisor of the School’s design and maker space, and should be well versed in – or highly motivated to learn – laser printing, 3-D printing and other fabrication tools. This instructor also collaborates actively with faculty to support the integration of design engineering principles within the general curriculum. Qualified candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in a related field of study and a Masters degree is preferred. Additional to teaching assignments, all teaching faculty are expected to contribute to the life of the school community in general.
