Digital Coach
Summary
The role of the Digital Coach is to collaborate with teaching faculty in Secondary Schools to integrate technology and digital skills, enhancing and transforming learning across all grades and subjects.
Salary and Workload
The salary range for this position is outlined by the teacher pay scale. This position will have no timetabled classes, however, the successful candidate will spend much of their time collaborating with colleagues and working directly with teachers and students.

- Supports and advances instructional technology in the context of international education.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibility Areas
- Responsible for coaching and professionally developing faculty to integrate technology and 21st Century digital skills throughout the curriculum, 6-12 in a substantive and sustainable manner.
- Collaborates with other Digital Coaches, Curriculum Coordinators, Librarians, and other Teacher Leaders to identify and develop opportunities to incorporate and integrate technology across the curriculum.
- Collaborates with the head of Secondary School to develop and implement a strategic vision for instructional technology integration across the school.
- Designs and delivers teacher professional development and training.
- Designs and delivers parent workshops.
- This future adaptive individual would have 3-5 years teaching experience with experience in the field of Educational Technology and Technology Integration.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all teachers, students, parents, and staff.
Additional Skills and Requirements
It is expected that candidates for this position will be highly qualified and able to lead individuals and teams in order to maximize the learning environment and learning outcomes for our students. Minimum requirements for this position would include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Library Science or a related field.
- Experience leading teams, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents, and staff.
- Self-directed and able to use own initiative to plan own schedule to directly benefit teaching and learning.
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with the community of Atlanta International School and the wider community locally, nationally, and internationally.
