Digital Learning Specialist

The requirements for this position are:

• A relevant teaching qualification from a recognised institution.

• A sound and progressive understanding of South African curriculum and international trends in education.

• Relevant experience in teaching IT within a preparatory school environment.

• A fundamentally future-orientated approach to teaching and learning.

• Experience or an understanding of Inquiry-based learning would be an advantage.

• The willingness to be involved and offer insights into the development of our curriculum in the areas of Coding, Robotics & STEAM education.

• A commitment to on-going personal and professional development.

• A passion for teaching and for the young people whose learning you would be expected to inspire.

• Highly collaborative, with unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team.

• An awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach.

• A willingness to work within the Church-based/Christian ethos of the College.

• Proof of registration with SACE and sexual offender’s clearance certificate.
