Digital Media Teacher

The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, an independent K – 12 boys’ school, seeks an energetic professional to serve as a digital media teacher. The school is opening a brand new, state of the art digital media laboratory, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the school’s growing, K – 12 digital imaging and electronic media program, beginning in August, 2015. Additionally, this professional will be responsible for producing a range of content from video posts and clips to updating the school’s website and social media outlets.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in technology as it pertains to digital imaging, graphic design, animation, video production and basic web editing. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and communicator. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in digital communications, English or a related field and at least two years of relevant experience.
