Friends School Mullica Hill, a Quaker day school serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade, seeks a Director of Communications and Marketing.  This is a twelve-month part-time position and includes the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Advertise, market, and promote FSMH to enhance its visibility and public perception.
  • Write and produce a weekly e-newsletter to parents and faculty.
  • Write and produce a monthly e-newsletter to prospective parents.
  • Create, edit, and publish a biannual magazine for the school community.
  • Manage and continually update the website.
  • Maintain social media profiles.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications.
  • Write and distribute press releases, and nurture relationships with key media contacts.
  • Photograph classroom and school-wide events and activities, and maintain the photo library.
  • Implement print and online advertising schedules.
  • Create video and other multimedia content.
 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree, significant experience in communications and marketing or a related field, an appreciation for working in a small Quaker school with a diverse population, and completion of required background checks are required.
