Kelley’s Information Systems Graduate Programs office (ISGP) offers the highly regarded Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS). The program enrolls students with a variety of academic backgrounds and prepares them for challenging careers at the intersection of business and technology. ISGP is seeking to hire a highly driven, innovative individual to join its leadership team.

Job Summary

Overall responsibility for student recruiting, admissions and operations processes, student services, corporate recruiting, services, and staff for Information Systems Graduate Programs in the Kelley School of Business. Develops and directs the implementation of policies and procedures for marketing, recruiting, admissions, advising, registration, degree audit, course projections/scheduling, major events, case competitions and the other administrative functions which support the delivery of the MSIS and future graduate degree programs.

Directs and establishes recruiting and admissions goals in consultation with the ISGPFaculty Program Chair and the Kelley School Deans. Leads the recruiting and admissions team and designs and implements programs and activities to assure enrollment targets are met or exceeded. Directs and ensures the success of the summer jumpstart program.

Manages the support for ISGP student services; coordinates with other Kelley and IU business units/divisions, including Kelley Graduate Career Services, the Kelley Office of Development and Alumni Relations, the IU Offices of the Registrar, Bursar, and Student Financial Assistance, the IU Graduate School, the IU Office of Veterans Support Services, and the IU Office of International Services and Kelley academic departments to provide student services to ISGP students. Collaborate with Kelley academic departments to schedule and deliver courses in the degree programs under ISGP purview.

Assures the achievement of cost efficiencies and administrative savings through technology adoption and the integration of standardized best practices and streamlined business processes within ISGP. Prioritizes training needs, schedules, and resource allocations in collaboration with the Faculty Program Chair. Establishes and ensures a logical course of action for self and staff to accomplish specific goals and objectives. Plans sequenced tasks and assignments with appropriate allocation of staff resources and budget.

Additional management duties include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating the performance of direct reports. Works effectively with others, regardless of authority relationships, in order to accomplish program goals, solve problems, and continuously improve quality. Serves on various committees.

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED: Master’s degree and five years of related student services and/or admissions experience.

Deep knowledge and understanding of Indiana University systems, policies and procedures. Experience in admissions, recruiting and/or student services. Previous management/supervisory experience. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
