Director of Information Technology
Oratory Prep is seeking a Director of Information Technology who can provide leadership in developing, implementing and supporting all technology initiatives and functions in a school environment. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of our school’s information technology services. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Manage and maintain IT budget (including non-public funds), personnel, inventory, equipment rollouts, vendor relationships, subscriptions, and licenses.

Research, propose, and project manage IT projects. Coordinate with stakeholders to implement technology initiatives that align with strategic planning goals.

Train faculty, staff and students on technology usage. Maintain school’s IT policies.

Help Desk support - diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for faculty, staff and students. Experience with multimedia equipment including projectors and audio systems.

Management of various online resources and learning tools used by faculty and students. Experience with Classlink is a plus.

Administration of a Windows-based network including but not limited to domain user administration, DNS, DHCP, group policies and file and printer sharing.

Administration and configuration of network equipment, including switches and wireless access points. Experience with Aruba Central desired.

Administration and configuration of network security including firewall policies, application control, client security and website filtering.

Administration of a learning management system and student information system - Blackbaud experience highly desired.

Experience with fundraising platforms such as Raiser’s Edge.

Experience with using a content management system. Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript is a plus.

Administration of the school’s Google Education Workspace account.

Database management - should be comfortable with data management, queries and reporting.

Administration of on-premise phone system.

Administration of point-of-sale systems.

Administration of campus security systems (NVRs, cameras, access control, badging, and visitor management).

Administration of public address system, bell scheduler and synchronized clocks.

Administration of mass notification system.

Administration of digital signage platform.
-
Teach middle school computer skills course.
-
Provide technology support for school-related events.

Be on call exclusive of school hours, when emergent problems arise, i.e. with network, servers, etc.
