The Donoho School is seeking a full-time Director of Instructional Technology for the 2017-2018 school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing basic computer skills to each K5 - Grade 6 class once a week in the Lower School computer lab or with iPads.
- Collaborating with faculty in the development of tech integration curricula and projects.
- Working with Division/Curriculum Directors to ensure that the school’s direct and indirect technology curriculum support current needs and prepares students for future trends in technological fields and to assist in providing timely and forward-thinking professional development for faculty.
- Providing maintenance and support on all school-owned devices for faculty, staff and students.
- Maintaining and monitoring the technology budget.
- Maintaining an inventory of all technology equipment.
- Serving as the network administrator for infrastructure support, including all hardware/software and connections (i.e. switches, routers, wireless, Ethernet, security cameras and DVR, bells, telephone system, interactive smart boards and audio/visual equipment), and providing support for the electronic student records system.
- Supervising and coordinating outsourced support staff as needed in order to maintain systems.
Required Skills:
- Experience supporting students and faculty
- Outstanding communication skills and detail-oriented work habits
- Bachelor’s Degree required; prior classroom teaching experience desired
