Director of Technology

Tarbut V’ Torah is seeking a Director of Technology, reporting to the Chief Financial/Operations Officer, with responsibility for establishment of the strategic direction of the School's educational and operational technology, budget prioritization and management of services for the innovative and effective use of technology supporting the educational visions and operation excellence of the school. This position is part of the Leadership team and works collaboratively with colleagues at the School to oversee technology initiatives that support and enhance those goals while maintaining alignment with strategic direction and objectives of the School.

Position requires five or more years of progressively responsible experience leading educational technology initiatives and providing infrastructure support. Position requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. A combination of education or 8 years progressive experience in an IT-related field may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Must have experience in an educational institution IT environment with strong technical understanding of network, servers, and computer operating systems and advanced knowledge of design and implementation of data and voice networks. Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability think strategically and maintain ability to be thorough and detailed oriented. Must have strong vendor and project management skills and disciplined, data-driven approach to decision making. Position requires knowledge of MS Office Suite, iOS, MS Windows, MAC OS X, relational database design, WAP’s (Aruba) and multi-platform desktop support.
