Director of Technology
Position Purpose:
Sheridan School seeks a knowledgeable, innovative and customer service oriented individual to fill the role of Director of Technology. The Director of Technology’s role is to provide efficient, reliable, secure and available technology solutions and processes in support of Sheridan’s educational programs and administrative functions that are aligned with the strategic plan. The Director of Technology is an administrative level position, reports to the Head of School and manages the information technology staff. The Director of Technology works with school leadership, faculty and staff towards the maintenance and support of technology in the classroom, office and core infrastructure in a proactive manner and monitors emerging trends for opportunities to provide innovation and efficiency gains. The Director of technology will serve as an expert in assisting faculty and staff with integration of technology into the Lower School and Middle School curriculum. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of technology use in schools, be comfortable collaborating with teachers, and be able to train faculty and staff in technology competencies. Finally, this individual will have an appreciation for working with energetic elementary and middle school students excited for projects and learnings they undertake.
This 12-month, benefits-eligible position begins July 1, 2022.
