Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required, Master's degree preferred.  Seven years of technology program and mid-level management experience in large IT organizations (greater than 50 staff members) required.  Project Management Professional Certification preferred. Must have a valid Maryland driver's license with moving violation points less than five (5).

 Class Specific Essential Duties:
  1. Provide leadership, administration and management oversight of the Technology Support Organization.

  2. Provide leadership for strategic and operational planning, goals and objectives for college-wide technology services ensuring implementation, delivery and assessment.

  3. Establish goals and objectives consistent with CCBC's mission and assist with execution of strategic priorities and operational objectives.

  4. Direct and supervise management staff in planning, organizing, staffing, prioritizing and completing projects and tasks.

  5. Develop, establish policies and procedures for technology standards and use for the CCBC community.

  6. Develop, prepare, monitor and administrator operating budget.

  7. Prepare, analyze and provide management reports for decision making.

  8. Serve as ITS liaison between College departments, vendors, government agencies and/or other external organizations.

 Position Specific Essential Duties:
  1. Provide broad leadership and administration for the Information Technology Services department that includes the Support Center, Desktop Support, Desktop Engineering, Audio Visual Support, and Digital Media Production Services.

  2. Assess and ensure that Technology Support programs, processes and procedures are effective and meet the needs of the College community.

  3. Represent Information Technology Support Services at College campus forums and constituent meetings in technology, strategy and direction discussions.

  4. Develop, implement and lead technology programs for end user computing, administrative desktop services, classroom instructional technology, software training and mastering technology.
