Primary Responsibility:
Manage, maintain, and instruct using design thinking and the tools housed within the school’s RiveterLab to students and faculty.
Hours/Classification: Full time - academic year / Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Design, instruct and assess student work in a semester long design thinking elective for middle school students.
2. Work in coordination with Hamlin teachers to integrate design thinking and making in classrooms kindergarten through eighth grade.
3. Work in coordination with school counselors and teachers to design and support the delivery of comprehensive SEL aligned digital citizenship instruction K-8.
4. Conceptualize and roll out training and certification program on RiveterLab technologies and equipment.
a. Create unique training programs to meet the needs of the various Hamlin constituents, including, but not limited to: teachers, division heads, Extended Day staff, office staff and athletics director.
b. Program should model best practices of blended learning
c. Assess, monitor and publish staff certification on different tools.
5. Responsible for space, equipment, and support during open hours and flex-time in the RiveterLab
6. Contribute to the ongoing dialogue regarding educational technology and technology trends.
