Position Summary: The Educational Systems Analyst provides systems and software design and support services to the school community.  This position extracts, manipulates, and analyzes data from the Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Admissions CRM, Financial and Donor Management systems. The Analyst is responsible for staying current with systems relevant to the academic and administrative environment in order to identify solutions that optimize data resources and meet the school's needs. The position is also responsible for protecting the integrity, security, and accessibility of institutional data. Additionally, the Analyst provides system and user level support for operating systems and software tools including installation, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of these systems.

Major Responsibilities: 

·       Work to analyze and ensure the integrity and security of all school data, particularly as it moves through all departments. 

·       Conduct market research and software evaluations to ensure critical business functions are optimally supported by applications. 

·       Provide technical support for GMAHS hardware and software to faculty, staff, and students.  

·       Provide guidance for student-owned hardware and software when appropriate. 

·       Develop asset management strategy to effectively manage the technology inventory and centralize software subscriptions. 

·       Support hardware peripherals such as Promethean boards, TVs, printers, AV equipment, etc. 

·       Conduct technology onboarding for new faculty and staff. Provide ongoing training as required to existing staff and faculty. 

·       Work with SIS and related systems to assist administrative departments. Act as first line of support for issues that arise and/or as a liaison to SIS vendor’s support when needed. 

 

Competencies: 

·       Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365), particularly Microsoft Excel. 

·       Experience with Veracross, Blackbaud, Canvas, or Finalsite is valuable. 

·       Experience in a K-12 environment and understanding of systems therein preferred. 

·       Strong attention to detail and maintaining accuracy; highly organized with strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks daily, and an independent desire to learn and identify optimal solutions. 

·       Four-year college degree 

Physical Requirements: 

·       Sitting, standing, walking and being able to lift at least 20 to 30 lbs.
