Educational Technology and Innovation Director
This director will stay abreast of latest educational technology and literacy skills. The director provides leadership and innovation for enhancing teaching and learning through the identification, evaluation, adoption, and integration of effective educational innovations into the curriculum. This director works closely with faculty and staff to design optimum learning environments where there is room for risk taking, critical thinking, problem-solving, self-assessment, reflection, creativity, collaboration, global outreach, and imagination. Students, too, will develop these same skills and will create presentations with their audience in mind. In addition, students will develop a voice and choice in their learning. The innovator will promote growth, not just change, and will ask questions. The Educational Technology and Innovation Director has a strong interest and experience in pedagogy, innovation, teaching, and learning.
