Job Description |
Under the general direction of Library Director and provides assistance with audiovisual equipment at the University and with the library; learning software and instruction on the use of these tools. Ensures that the LRC provides the necessary computing resources, technology and educational materials (i.e., patient stimulations, electronic texts, and teaching aids, etc.) to support the instructional and learning needs of students and faculty. Supports development of health sciences learning resources and services consistent with the educational and learning goal of the University; Provides routine maintenance and administration of the computers in the SESC, the Cobb LRC, classrooms, and LSRNE LRC.

Essential Duties |

Provides day-to-day maintenance of the Audio Visual (AV) equipment in the “smart” classrooms and lecture hall.

Respond to request from the Library Director.

Ensure AV setups are prompt and remove AV equipment at the end of the event.

Provides technical support and instruction for students, faculty, and staff at the University.

Provides lecture capture and video-recording as needed for the University.

Troubleshoots Smart classrooms and lecture gall on an ongoing basis.

Maintain a weekly inventory of AV equipment, cleans and maintain equipment.

Assists with video duplication, file transfers and poster printing.

Maintains a log of all AV activities and submits a monthly report to Library Director.

Provides basic instruction on the operation of AV equipment to customers as necessary.

Attends Library staff meetings.

Required Qualifications |
B. A. degree and experience working in a health sciences library or learning resource center. |
