Educational Technology Coordinator
Wells College seeks an Educational Technology Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing, managing, and evaluating educational technology resources and services that support teaching and learning. The coordinator provides hands-on curricular support to faculty, students, and academic and student life staff for integrating technologies into educational programs; consults and collaborates with faculty, information technology staff, and students to enrich teaching, learning, and scholarship through the effective use of established and emerging technologies. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in education, education technology, information technology, instructional technology, instructional design or related field; demonstrated ability to support the use of technology in a higher education setting; experience with a wide range of technology to include learning management systems (Moodle experience preferred), multi-media tools, presentation software, survey software, and web-based collaboration tools; extensive knowledge of both Mac and Windows desktop systems as well as current mobile devices and platforms; working knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning, universal design, and course and classroom design; ability to engage and work effectively with users of varied skill levels and interests; ability to flourish as a team member and an independent worker; strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and project management skills; demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service; and teaching or training experience in technology-related field preferred. Wells College is a four-year, liberal arts and sciences, residential college located in the Finger Lakes region of central New York.
