Educational Technology Coordinator/Teacher

Calvary Christian School seeks to teach the whole child the whole truth in every aspect of our school. We are seeking an experienced and talented person to lead our educational technology program for the 2018-19 school year. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• An understanding and interest in teaching technology through a biblical worldview
• Ability to work collaboratively with school administration, teaching teams and department colleagues
• Ability to effectively and regularly communicate with students, parents, peers, and community
• Competency in teaching students with wide-ranging academic abilities
• Ability to explore and execute technology in the classroom as an instructional tool to enhance learning
• Additional skills that contribute to school life: the ability and eagerness to lead or assist in co-curricular activities (such as spelling bee, athletics, or school clubs)
• Maintain ACSI teaching certification

Qualifications

• Content area expertise by having completed an educational technology degree (Masters degree preferred)
• Strong Christian testimony
• Familiarity and proficiency in educational software and applications
• Experience and/or training in technology instruction
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• High standards of professional conduct, support of the Christian mission of Calvary Christian School
