JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an educational technology teacher to teach in both the elementary and middle schools. This teacher will work with other teachers and students in groups and individually to teach technology skills and facilitate integration of and between technology and other subjects. This position is a full-time opportunity and the candidate must be certified in instructional technology K-8.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A technology teacher at Kadima is responsible for both delivering curriculum to a classroom of students as well as partnering with teachers to enhance the use of technology in the classroom. The essential job responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Cultivate and model a respectful, safe, creative, and invigorating classroom
  • Utilize best instructional practices, methods, materials and technology
  • Work collaboratively with Kadima faculty 
  • Relate to and communicate well with students, parents, administration and staff
  • Connect with and engage in student life 
  • Help service the 1-1 iPad program
  • Help with PowerSchool Data input
  • Employ effective teaching methods and student management skills; employ adequate supervision to insure student safety
  • Teach all students as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years’ experience with teaching/working with children in a school setting
  • B.A. or Master’s Degree in education or related field
  • Able to pass state and federal background checks
  • Clear TB and criminal background check upon hire
