Job Title: Helpdesk / Technology Assistant Reports To: Chief Financial Officer |
The Helpdesk / Technology Assistant, under the support and direction of the Media, Website, and Database Administrator, assists all constituencies with regards to the operation and utilization of technology and electronic equipment (e.g. copy machines) and provides support to the Technology Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Helpdesk and desktop support, supporting users at all levels (teachers, students, staff)

Managing, monitoring, and clearing helpdesk requests utilizing Ticketing system (OSticket)
-
In-Depth application support with Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Remote Desktop Management, DNS, DHCP, Network protocol, and Licensing

Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive) administration/troubleshooting

Strong knowledge of Google Suite and Google Suite for Education

Printer/copier configuration, troubleshooting

Imaging and deployment of images to new or refreshed computers

Assist with inventory of technology and electronic equipment

Assist with set-up and tear-down of technology and electronic equipment for teaching and presentation purposes

Assist with set-up and troubleshooting of emerging technologies (3D printers, laser cutters, AR/VR, etc.)

Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer and Head of School

Normal hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Benefits include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, FSA, retirement plan, and paid vacation (for 12-month employees). Competitive salary based on experience.
