IB Design Technology

Cairo American College, a PK-12 independent day school is seeking a dynamic, collaborative and innovative teacher of Design Technology to join our exceptional and diverse team here in Cairo. At CAC we value a student-centered, holistic and inclusive approach to learning and teaching. Our mission statement, Learn, Explore and Have Fun, is a clear indication of our commitment to making the educational experience engaging, exploratory and meaningful for our students. DT is offered as an elective course in Grades 9 & 10 and we offer IBDP Design Technology in Grades 11 & 12. In addition to this, we run a co-curricular coding / robotics program. The well-equipped DT Lab in our new HS building takes center stage with its location by the main entrance and all glass walls. Dynamic learning is on full display for our community and we are looking for the right educator to help our students develop skills in problem solving, collaboration, Design Thinking, coding and making.
