Position Summary |
This Information Technology Consultant position serves as a member of the Facilities & Property Management (FPM) IT team supporting AiM, the computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) used at Portland State University. The position develops FPM web-service components, javascript action codes, FPM cell phone management and reports (JAMF); the position also assists in providing training and technical support for AiM. Facilities and Property Management (FPM) is pleased to serve all members of the Portland State University (PSU) community. FPM takes a tremendous amount of pride in providing professional services that maintain an appealing campus environment. The facilities and grounds at PSU consist of over 5 million square feet of facilities and approximately 50 acres of grounds. |
Minimum Qualifications from Classification |
This classification requires a basic foundation of knowledge and skills of technology and information systems generally obtained through an AA degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified course work in applicable fields of study and at least one year of related work experience. |

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement |
The starting salary rate for this position will be between $18.25 and $25.50 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience, with an excellent benefits package including 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities. |
