Job Summary |
This position will help the college achieve its goals by providing much needed computing help to faculty with research and students with their computing. Will also be responsible for maintaining security on windows systems for faculty, staff and graduate students. Responsibilities include Installing, configuring, maintain, administering hardware/software/network for a frequently changing set of approximately 1,500 networked College of Engineering desktop systems, involving Windows (various versions), Macintosh and Linux machines; developing and maintaining network systems and programming including maintaining and updating group policies, security group memberships, SharePoint groups, and data encryption standards; and supporting all department faculty, staff and students by evaluating, recommending, and acquiring hardware/software, answering questions, restoring files, and solving problems. |
