Information Technology Specialist
Manage Bern Dibner and technology infrastructure, providing desktop and laptop support to Bern Dibner Library users. Set up and maintain processes and workflows to keep workstations and laptops operationally sound and secure. Hire, manage and coordinate a technical team in order to maintain fully functional computer environment that is adaptive and responsive to changing user needs. Strong customer focus, flexibility to resolve urgent issues, and understanding of computer technology in education environment is essential.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivilant

Required Experience:
2-3 years of experience in an academic computing environment
Preferred Experience:
Library experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of Operating Systems; Windows and OSX. PC/Laptop hardware and software, printing service troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Active (or Open) Directory and configuration of Group Policies. Knowledge of visualization technologies.
