Information Technology Specialist and Teacher
St Martin’s was founded in 1958. It is an Anglican Church School tracing its origins back to the foundation of St Agnes School in 1908, and St Peter’s Priory and College in 1911. The Christian ethos of our school is important and staff are expected to support this ethos.
We are seeking to appoint, in a permanent position, a qualified, enthusiastic, innovative and passionate teacher to manage the St Martin’s Prep School Technology Centre, and to teach IT skills from Grade 00 to Grade 7. The successful candidate will show flexibility, good inter-personal skills and have the ability to work in a team.
Minimum requirements:

The necessary academic qualifications.

5 years’ experience in teaching Information Technology.

Complete proficiency in the Microsoft suite.

An excellent knowledge of the various social media platforms.

Experience with iPads and how they can enhance learning in the classroom.

An ability to help teachers make the most of e-learning for their pupils.

A knowledge of the i-platform would be a significant advantage.
St Martin’s Prep offers a pleasant working environment – it is a happy school. The school expects the appointee to become fully involved in its comprehensive co-curricular programme that includes cultural and sporting activities as well as academic support lessons. The coaching of boys’ sport will be a distinct advantage.
