The function of this position is to serve as a Computer Support Specialist; conducting industry research and analysis, providing relevant information to CAST IT personnel, chairs/directors, and faculty, advising on future planning, administering, managing, and supervising various departmental/school computer labs and office computers. The incumbent will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising highly skilled student workers. This position also serves as a mentor and educational resource for graduate and highly advanced undergraduate students, providing computer technology learning experiences outside of the classroom.
