Instructional Technologist
BC High is seeking a part time Instructional Technologist to support student learning and provide leadership, instructional support and training to faculty and staff. The successful candidate will be up to date on emerging technologies and their integration into teaching and learning, and will work closely with students, faculty, administration and IT colleagues, building robust relationships to integrate technology into the classroom and use technology as a tool for critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication and in the service of Jesuit education and Ignatian pedagogy.
The position requires strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills, a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of teaching experience, preferably including teaching computer classes or teaching in a 1:1 iPad environment. Proficiency with Canvas, G Suite for Education, and Microsoft Office 365 for Education is preferred.
This position is 20 hours per week, currently on site supporting a hybrid teaching model. Part time benefits include paid time off, life and disability insurance and retirement plan.
