Instructional Technology Facilitator
St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School, PK-5th, is seeking a full time experienced Instructional Technology Facilitator to teach technology classes to elementary grade students, to coach and collaborate with teachers in the implementation of instructional technology, and to design and deliver relevant, engaging, and differentiated professional development. In this multi-faceted position, the ITF will lead and support the school’s work in establishing, promoting, and sustaining seamless use of 21st -century technology tools and information resources. The ITF collaborates with teachers and instructional staff to enhance lesson plans, models the integration of technology in all curriculum areas, facilitates school participation in technology programs and activities, and collaboratively selects digital tools and resources based on professional best practices and relevant data. He/she must demonstrate fluency with a wide range of digital resources that support inquiry and student-centered learning, professional best practices, and acquisition of 21st -century skills. The ITF evaluates the school’s programs to ensure that they are up-to-date and relevant and that they meet the needs of the school community. Candidates must hold degrees in education or educational technology with certifications and have at least three years of highly successful teaching experience, as well as experience with designing, executing, and evaluating professional development in an educational environment. They must have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be highly proficient in the implementation of instructional technology. Knowledge of Smart Board, Google Drive and ISTE a plus.
