Instructional Technology Specialist
Responsibilities include:

Supporting the 1:1 device program and the meaningful integration of technology into the curriculum and school community.

Collaborating with faculty to implement technology into the classroom through the development of projects and blended learning activities, direct classroom support, and troubleshooting.

Coordinating and facilitating faculty professional development opportunities for the implementation of technology.

Supporting student training and working with faculty to implement technology curriculum into classroom opportunities.
-
Collaborating with the Director of Instructional Technology and faculty to develop and reinforce policies related to the 1:1 device program.

Providing effective support to student, faculty, and staff technology end-user and troubleshooting needs.

Developing opportunities to promote student’s interest in technology and exploring ways to promote the Computer Science curriculum
The ideal candidate will possess:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an education field with significant experience implement educational technology in the classrooms and schools.

Commitment to embrace the school’s mission and values.

Genuine enthusiasm and passion for creating an environment that promotes the development of 21st century skills amongst students and faculty.

Willingness to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, and parents .

Knowledge of a variety of technology tools and effective implementation strategies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office365 applications and other technology tools.

Ability to be collaborative and team oriented to support the needs of the technology department and school.
