Position Summary Information
Primary Purpose |
• Sustain teaching performance at appropriate levels to include course loads, instructional technology, instructional materials and innovative communication delivery in the information technology disciplines. |

Essential Functions and Responsibilities |
• Maintain accreditation and credentials and mastery/currency to teach in specific subject areas such as information systems, web technologies, programming, database management, networking & security with a specialty in either support services, networking, web administration, or programming. |
Additional Duties and Responsibilities |
• Participate in a wide variety of extra-curricula committee and campus support functions, to include: scholarships, grants, campus marketing, accreditation, inter-institutional and system cooperative programs |
Education |
Masters Degree from Accredited four year institution with a concentration in Computer Information Technology or closely related field. (Instructor will have 18 hours of Computer Information Technology related course work at the Masters level.) |
Experience |
All persons must provide verifiable and relevant professional experience in a work-place setting or demonstrated instructional/teaching environment. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities |
The ideal candidate will possess strong personal and professional integrity, good verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, database systems, College email and website, and other computer applications associated with the position. |
Physical Demands |
The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines. |
