Ohio University’s Office of Information Technology is seeking a dependable and energetic business analyst who values team work to join the Project Management team. You will be responsible for collaborating with leaders, subject matter experts, end users and technical staff to identify and understand business needs, research solutions, present your findings and help implement the chosen solution. You will have the opportunity to help the overall efficiency of the university by providing excellent analytical insight to members of the university community. To be successful in this position, you will need to be a results-oriented self-starter who is attentive, has excellent communication skills, enjoys challenges and is able to set and meet deadlines. You will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field, business, communication or equivalent experience and at least three years of demonstrated experience in business analysis and/or project management. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking an IT Business Analyst II to perform business analysis and conceptual solution design of medium sized, moderately complex IT projects. Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, end users and technical staff to identify and understand business needs, design possible technology solutions and help implement and transition chosen solutions. The IT Business Analyst II is responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements and creating appropriate business analysis documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Minimum Qualifications |
Candidate must have earned Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field, business, communication or related field and at least three years of demonstrated experience in business analysis and/or project management. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use in varied situations; |

Pay Rate |
