Qualifications
- College degree in computer science or related field experience
- Working knowledge and basic network understanding including Active Directory, Switch management, Firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
- Experience supporting, Apple OSX, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, iOS Mobile Device Mgmt software and Mac exp. Preferred
- Strong problem solving skills; ability to analyze, diagnose, and solve issues quickly and accurately, and independently research solutions
- Experience in “maker”/innovation lab setting preferred
Infrastructure Technology Duties
- Responsible for network administration on the Lower School campus
- Coordinate with outside tech vendor for troubleshooting of systems
- Perform “help desk” functions for lower school campus
- Work with upper school tech team on larger technology initiatives
- Maintain Technology Asset Inventory
Teaching duties
- Plan and implement lessons that engage Lower School students in the Design Process through technology and "Maker" experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide students with cross-curricula connections to grade level units of study
- Use a variety of technology resources in instruction such as 3D printers, arduino boards, appropriate learning apps, robotics.
- Communicate students' progress with parents
