IT Help Desk Representative
The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist ("DSMME") seeks a full-time IT Help Desk representative to support the Dominican Sisters of Mary and staff in Ann Arbor, MI.
At the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Help Desk representative is responsible for:
• Some systems and network administration including software distribution; updates management; user account access troubleshooting; backups management; server hardware and software troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting day-to-day technology issues over a wide array of devices and in Office applications, network connectivity, printing and phone issues
• Implementing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment
• Communicating with management on issues and providing recommendations
• Assisting on project deployments including planning and implementation of new or upgraded computers and upgrading existing computers
• Communication during and after each ticket to ensure all issues are resolved
A successful candidate will have:
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role and experience
• Experience with: Active Directory and Group Policy; Exchange Server; Office 365 and Office 365 administration; SharePoint; troubleshooting Windows 7-10 based computers, printers and printing issues, and Microsoft Office software; networking concepts and devices including routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points; treating and removing malware/viruses; and managing DNS.
• Reliable transportation for site visits
• Patience and a good attitude when interacting with users
The ideal candidate will be possess a strong commitment to the Catholic Faith. An undergraduate degree is preferred. The Dominican Sisters of Mary offers a competitive employment package.
